Basic Features

A buffer tank is essentially a reserve tank of hot water that can be called upon as and when required. It acts as an intermediary between your hot water cylinder in your house and your biomass boiler. It is generally located next to the boiler in the shed or garage.

As the vast majority of buffer tanks are made from mild steel, an anode will be required in areas of hard water.

The Kerry Biofuels buffer tanks are made from industrial grade steel.
